Advanced Notice of closure.

From 4th June 2024 Pentre Mawr will no longer be available as holiday accommodation. We would like to thank all of our guests over the past 9 years for their kind feedback and appreciation of what will now become our family home.
Up until this date we will be taking bookings as usual.
Kind regards.

Pentre-Mawr is a beautifully converted farmhouse with a hot tub, surrounded by a working farm, on the edge of the hamlet of Rhosgoch near to the village of Painscastle in the undulating Welsh border countryside.

The farmhouse is a perfect base for families and groups of friends to explore the surrounding countryside. Set over two floors, there are four large bedrooms, one with an en-suite, and a large family bathroom. On the ground floor is a large well-equipped kitchen which looks over fields and has an island unit with a small breakfast bar. From the kitchen, you can access a spacious dining room and through to a comfortable sitting room with a TV and a Wii games console, where you can sit and plan your day’s adventures over a morning cup of tea.

Enjoy the outdoors with family and friends

Outside, you can sit on the patio and lawned area, or relax in the luxurious hot tub and reminisce about your days activities whilst the kids and dogs run off the last of their energy.
